Is balding contagious? I slept on the same spot my balding dad slept and my hair started burning.?

I know a type of balding is caused by a chemical and when i started to scratch the burning spot, any other spot i touched started burning. Am i just paranoid?

If you are serious, you have nothing to worry about. Balding is hereditary, but it is NOT contagious.
