I would have to agree with some of the other posters and say Ebay is the way to go. My parents have an Ebay store and make a KILLING! Pick the product you want to sell wisely though (a product with high margins). If you're good you can run that thing completely out of your house. It's gonna take a lot of work and time (not gonna happen over night). I don't mean to send you on a wild goose chase, but here are some suggestions: - Try reselling tickets to popular music events. - Reselling tickets to popular sporting events (college bowl games can usually get you some good money, but it's seasonal) - Find a whole seller of a product, but make sure that product isn't already tapped out on Ebay.
Also, if you make some good capital from Ebay (if you start with Ebay), you can just make your own website (or pay someone to make it for you) and sell from there. - The key is advertising. If you can come up on the top 5 in yahoo or google searches that is very good for business and is sure to get you hits.
You can also invent a nifty product, patent it, sell it via online, or whereever. (it's never too late to pursue that idea you've had)
Sorry, no way you can avoid spam with this kind of question. Nothing is easy. Most of the things you hear in this nature are MLM, spamming, and reselling.
Reselling on eBay might work fine. No cost, honest, and little labor.
Web development can be good if you have the skills, background and experience to do it. Sometimes an ebay store can work - possibly selling her jewelry?
They do run valid companies, in many circumstances as fronts for their criminal earnings, and for extra funds. yet as long as there is funds to be made illegally, somebody will do it.
