Everyday items that describe you are what ?

Question

I will choose a garden hose. Sometimes I can be still and empty like a resting garden hose waiting to be put into use. Other times I can be full of energy and very active, like a wide open faucet attached to an unattended hose lashing around wildly spraying water uncontrolably.  Or I can move smoothly and with guided purpose, like a soft stream of water flowing out the house to its desired location.  What kind of item can describe something about yourself ?

Hi,
A camera with a wide range of intelligent and automatic functions. I get on with routine, work consistently and perform well but in situations or circumstances that are unusual, I switch to manual control! I can ZOOM IN on areas, issues or people that might need a little support or tlc. I can be serious and professional but there's a fun-loving side too. I have an adjustable iris, sometimes looking out and concerned with outside interests, sometimes looking inwards and in touch with the more spiritual side of life. I also have an audio facility but this can be switched off if you get tired of listening to me!!!
