What exactly is "category trolling"?

trolls are people who intenionally report other people just to cause problems. people who are top experts, achieved high levels, and allow others to view their questions and answers in their profile can be particular targets. category trolling means the person focuses on one category where they target people. trolls is also used to describe people who post answers/questions just to be rude and start problems (1). so if they are a category troll they try to start problems in one particular category instead of switching from different categories.

i believe category trolling is when a person comes on Yahoo answers and deliberately reports a person to yahoo services stating a person has typed in a question that may be offensive or derogatory when he or she didn't do that; basically it's something that a person would do intentionally. So i'm assuming by the word troll, it just means they pick a category on here or anywhere else and they maliciously report people, which could lead to having your account suspended and your question to be deleted....Show more
