College life?

I go to college in Los Angeles and I'm really over the whole city. My college is okay but I'm just not into the scene here at all and wish I could move somewhere more down-to-earth and more nature-based, where people are more chill and genuine and not obsessed with the next party, movie screening, and all that other fake ****. Any recommendations?

This is a big country, and many states have wide open spaces; you can transfer anywhere at any time.
Alaska is great year round, and so are many other Northern states, from Wyoming, South, and North Dakota to Montana.
Alsaka is still my all time favorite.
Start packing....

I'd tell you to come to Drury (http://www.drury.edu) but I'd be biased in that... There is still a lot of partying but also a lot of interest in community service, several nearby nature trails, etc. I've heard of a college in Iowa that has degree programs in environmental sciences, but I don't know the name of it--I've known non-partying people who enjoyed going there.
