Cleaning glass stovetop range?

I have a new glass stovetop range and I love it. The only beef I have with it is that when something boils over I have a heck of a time getting it off. Any suggestions? I would love something I can make up at home if there is such a thing. Only serious answers please. Thanks in advance, and have a blessed evening.

Try mixing baking soda with water to make like a paste and put that on there and let it sit for a few minutes then try to wipe it clean. I use baking soda for a lot of my cleaning. I hope this helps.

Honestly what i do is clean the mess when it happens. My friend just bought a new stove spilt something on it and he cratched it pretty bad trying to get it off. I always tease my gf because she doesnt "clean as you go". Yes the stove is hot, so just be careful and wipe it up with a paper towel. If you leave it to crust up, i would use a razor blade. Razor blades are the best tools for cleaning FLAT surfaces from blemishes that dont come out easily.

I have the same type of stove and I love it!

Once the top cools down, take a razor blade, hold it at an angle, and gently scrape off anything that has hardened on the top. Then I make a paste with baking soda and a bit of water to wash off anything that remains with a paper towel.

Works like a charm and my stove still looks brand new.

There are special cleaners for glass top stoves. They are a paste that you rub in, let sit for a while and then clean off.

I also use a razor scraper to scrape thick residue off before applying the cleaner.

Also, Magic Erasers work wonders.

i have two so i know what you mean. get a single edge razor and glass stove top cleaner. first wipe with a towel, then wet the area with a little soapy water ,then use the razor to get the larger caked on stuff, then with a cotton cloth lightly damp use the cleaner ,putting it on in circles. it's almost like polishing a car. works but do it often, a lot less work
