Should you give respect to some who doesnt give u respect back?
my dad keeps asking for respect from every1 in the household but all he gives us is bull S*** ? is this right to give him respect when gives none back?(even when we use to give it out)

i live with my gram and shes exactly the same. When they ***** at you these are the ONLY phrases that they cannot courtpart. Some one VERY smart told me these. Say it without attitude and just keep repeating it with Every comment they say... 1) Dad, Im diong the best I can. 2)I'm sorry you feel that way. REMEMBER NO ATTITUDE! it starts working after youve been doing it for a while. eventually they will leave you alone more. i learned the hard way... i am your rebel without a cause and i would smart off at the drop of a hat... i get no respect from my gram and i didnt give it back ever. i still dont! BUT ive learned how to handle it with her. Just Show no attidtude, still stand your ground and eventually they lay off and let you kinda do your own thing and ignore you. Honestly i find it better to be ignored and avoided rather that yelled at ya know?
