Who will be the next head coach of the MICHIGAN WOLVERINES??
And is there any chance that it could be Steve Mariucci considering he is a Michigan man also??
Les Miles i think is the best bet but who could some other choices or some other people that you would look at??

To the guy above me, Les Miles would take a pay cut to coach at michigan. It's one of the all time winningest programs, and he played there. When little Les was still wetting his diapers, he dreamed of being the head coach of Michigan. That being said, Les isn't going to be the next coach of Michigan because Carr doesn't want him. It's possible, I guess, but I wouldn't bet on it. Kelly at Cincy is a good choice, and they may keep it in house with their current D cooridinator, but I think that would be a mistake. The D has been pretty bad the last couple years in big games. My brother(a huge michigan fan) wants Barry to come out of retirement, but I don't see that happening. I also don't see Kirk coming over from Iowa. I really think it is going to be Kelly, or a guy from the pros.
One of the ESPN pundits today said, "Will Michigan be willing to wait around for Les Miles if they have to wait clear until the National Title game to get him?" I burst out laughing at these so called experts. Michigan will wait until HELL FREEZES OVER for Les Miles; And he will go back to his alma mater at his earliest (respectful) opportunity.
Les Miles is the next Mich. HC. Mail it in. It's a done deal; They just haven't signed on the dotted line yet. Does anyone really think there are even any other serious candidates??
if lloyd carr has anything to say about it, les miles won't be going to michigan, lloyd feels like les is classless(and he is) and wouldn't fit the standards of michigan football
personally, i think the guy they will get is kirk ferentz, he has worked for the michigan prez before and knows the big ten well...i think their best choice would be brian kelly, but i don't think he would count as an insider to the "michigan family", and i think they will choose one of their own to be the next coach
as for mariucci, i really think he might be done coaching for good, he seems to have it good on television
Miles will not leave LSU unless its for huge and i mean huge money i think it will be Brian Kelly, Cinncinatti's head coach he'll go back to the stae and run the Wolverine Program and bring it back like he did with Central Michigan
