Hi there, computer assembly expert. It's difficult to get desktop assembled in my part of the world & they're also intel maniac. As such, I have done a decent research myself & think on my budget I want below spec for a decent gaming desktop. Need advise whether they can work together or not :)
MB = GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4
Processor = AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (AM2)
RAM = V-GEN 1GB PC-6400
Graphic = MSI NX8600GT-T2D256E-OC

Motherboard is fine
CPU is fine
Go for a Different brand of Ram if you can afford it,PNY,OCZ,Ultra
and for the GPU i didn't even know msi made them so try and stick with nvidia or bfg,xfx,pny,evga
and you were wondering if everything will work together,the answer is yes

each little thing seems fantastic and your images card is assume to be reliable for gaming in accordance to the specs. yet obviously you in no way comprehend till eventually you try each so often yet on paper all of it seems fantastic to me. Are you operating Vista 32 bit? it extremely is the stabler version besides.

mobo is fine, processor could be better, i'd suggest a 5600, i would get a better brand name of ram and 2gb of it, and a better card than that weak 8600 which happens to be an msi, if you want an 8600, get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150229
