Play Bluray in HD DVD player?

Can I play Bluray disks in my Xbox 360 HD DVD player? I know that the disks are both burned with the same frequency laser, so is the only difference data capacity? Or do they have different file structures? Anyway, if I can't play Bluray on HD DVD player is there some way to flash the firmware to make it Bluray compatible? Like the way you flash the Xbox 360 to make it play copied games?

It is not a firmware problem it is a hardware problem. The disks are not burned at the same frequency. That is the difference.
