Even if you admit its not perfect, do you think your country still has the best system out there?

Every country has problems. Do you think yours needs mild reformation or major revolution to correct them?

I claim two countries, and both have their issues. Yet, the overall system of government in both countries is satisfactory because the countries respond to challange and change with well defined processes. I feel much closer to the government in Australia, and feel like my opinion is heard. I feel the government in The US responds in a more measured manner, which is less likely to "overshoot" when a problem is approached.

It was once said no country like the US has lasted more than 200 yrs . So far we have but we are starting to decay from inside our government out . A few congressmen have started to take a stand against all the back room spending ( a high to no where such as in Alaska .) but they are meeting brick walls from inside congress and at home from the people wanting to spend that money .
It is not perfect and never will be . It is ours and we made it and it has kept us free for over 200yrs . A lot of mild changes and we will be on the road back to the major power we once where . A few more and we will become the nation the world once look to for leadership and hope in the darkest of times . We will be a greatest country again but WE ALL have to make mild changes to do it . God bless this country and all who salute it's flag .
