Suspended Animation?

Why does Yahoo call it "suspended" when that would imply your account could be reactivated?

I have NOT heard of ONE person who had an account reactivated or unsuspended.

Wouldn't it be more fair for Yahoo to call it what it is? A Termination?

At least allow us to transfer our hard earned credits to another name...sheesh!

In case you're wondering WHY I am posting this in R/S...two reasons:

1. Most suspensions SEEM to come to people in this room.
2. Only G-d knows whats in the mind of Yahoo.

The account is suspended because it CAN be reactivated. It doesn't mean they'll do it though.

I've seen a number of people that have been re-instated - stephen k, Marianne_Not_Ginger, and Lucky have all been resurrected after being slain on y/a.

It depends on your circumstances.

There is another difference on the site between suspended and terminated. Suspended accounts don't lose ALL their Yahoo accounts (including email, 360, flickr, etc.) and don't get ALL their Q&A removed from the site -- terminated accounts do.
