Help! I have a 2.5 lb boneless pork loin roast and I need to know how to cook it?

It is frozen right now. I'm obviously not a good cook, so I can't do anything fancy with it. I'd just like how to make this into a meal for my family.

Get Lipton soup mix box in "herb & garlic" flavor, sprinkle on top add your favorite spices and bake in oven 15 minutes per pound at 350. Might want to put a little water in bottom of pan, and cover.

Let it thaw completely.

Rub it with chicken/poultry spice (Spice mixes are available at the grocery store). Roast it in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour. If you have a meat thermometer, test the temperature by inserting into the center of the roast. The temperature should read around 175-180.

or,

You can boil it with onions, garlic, hot peppers (jalapeno, serrano, etc). Boil it until t is fork tender and then shred for pork tacos (Sort of like carnitas). Or you can shred it and add bbq sauce and have pulled pork bbq po'boys.

That's a couple of ideas that are pretty easy.

BONELESS PORK LOIN
2-4 lb. boned, rolled pork roast
1 TB. dry mustard (in the little yellow can)
1 tsp. salt
pepper & paprika to taste
1/2 tsp. caraway seed
Rub roast with seasoning. Roast on rack in shallow pan, uncovered, in 350 oven until meat thermometer registers 185 (about 45-50 min. per lb). Let rest on counter about 5-10 min (where it WILL slightly cook a little longer); slice thin....

An easy side dish would just be a package of rice mix (like Rice-a-Roni) or: cut some potatoes into big chunks. Roll in olive oil and sprinkle with some seasonings. Stick them on a pan in the oven, with the roast ...... serve with green salad

I put a good bit of garlic powder, salt, and pepper on it and bake it at 350 once it's thawed. If you want it to cook faster cut the roast in half before cooking. The garlic will give it a nice crust. Slice and serve with applesauce. Simple and delicious. Hope this helps!

I love the taste of pork loin without a lot of fuss. Just lightly coat it with olive oil and just salt and pepper it. put it on a baking sheet. bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes if it only a pound. Use a meat thermometer and let it reach 150 degrees and then take it out of the oven, cover in foil for about 10 minutes. Then slice! Yum!
