Diecast model of Porsche 917?

I would like to purchase a diecast model of a long tail Porsche 917 of the type in the Steve McQueen movie 'Le Mans'. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

First off, it's been awhile since I've seen Le Mans, but I am 99.9% positive that the cars in the movie are 917k's, not Long Tails. Auto Art (as mentioned) sells a 917k in 1:18 that is a movie version (they also have some Long Tails in Gulf Weyer livery). The Auto Art diecasts are not bad, but they are definitely lacking compared to the better models out there (Exoto would clearly rank first, but they only have some of the 917 Can Am cars when last I checked).

Minichamps has had 917Ks available in a variety of scales, and among these cars, the Gulf livery is pretty common... though it may not be an exact match to the movie.

My favorite sites for such purchases would be www.sportcraftcars.com and www.ewacars.com... though in this case, eBay might be a good option as there have likely been other versions produced over the years.

I think AutoArt has the most popular version of this. You might find it on eBay, or do some searches. Here's a place that seems to have them:

I think that these should only be about $40. I have one or two models by that brand and they are decent, but nowhere near collectible. I like Exoto first, then Minichamps, then GMP. Carousel is also good. AutoArt is junk IMHO, but then again - if its the only game in town, go for it.
Personally, that's one of my favorite movies and one of my favorite cars, but I'm going to wait. Another decent option that just occurred to me is the Porsche dealer. These are probably in the GMP class of quality, at about $90-$100. They had a 917 recently, I think the hippie car,
