What's your opinion regarding the inquest on Diana?
Do you think if fair to say that Henri Paul was 'drunk'. Do you think Diana's bodyguard would have let her get in the car with a guy that was drunk. He has said that Henri Paul was OK to drive - no-one listens to him. Was it an accident due to Paparazzi chasing them and Henri driving to fast? Would they have survived had they been wearing seat belts? Are you satisfied with the outcome or do you still think that it was a plot to kill Diana?

I felt at the time of the accident and I feel the same now, that the accident was caused by the Paparazzi chasing the car to get the "money shot" of Princess Diana and that the driver Henri Paul was simply speeding to get away from the hoards of photographers and the car went out of control and crashed.
All one need do is watch the Paparazzi here in America as they surround celebs like sharks in a feeding frenzy and how the celebs speed up to get away from them, sometimes causing minor accidents but of course, nothing "so far" to the extent of the Diana crash...but sadly, it's just a matter of time.
I certainly agree that if Henri Paul was so drunk, the bodyguard would not have let him drive the car. The simple fact is that no matter how many inquests, or official verdicts there are, no one will know the exact truth of what happened that night, but I do think that we should all honour William and Harry's request that this should now be dropped.
I think the truth has been proven to a level that any reasonable person would accept. The crash was caused by an employee of Al Fayed who was drunk whilst driving at speed. He must take some responsibility as an employer for this as must the paparazzi, news paper editors and Diana herself for courting the media.
The only person to survive the crash was wearing a seat belt, so I think the answer to that question is self evident.
I think the inquest has been overblown, but it was necessary to quash the increasingly bizarre conspiracy theories. There has not been one piece of evidence brought forward to support any of the conspiracies, and those who believe in them do not have the first idea about how the security services work.
I think the paparazzi is at fault here, at least 99%. I also think that the media has covered this issue for way too long. I understand the "public's need to know" spiel, I just think it's a bunch of crap. Continue the investigation quietly and let the woman rest in peace. Allow her family to continue their lives as they choose.
I don't think it was a plot--never did--none of it would have gotten this amount of crap if she had been anyone else than who she was--she died because it was her time--life circumstances and surrounding events will or can determine how. You go out, you chance getting hit by a drunk, you ride in vehicle with someone who has been drinking, drunk or not, same thing. You are famous, you have papparazi following you. She evidently wasn't stupid--she knew that the press would follow her, even before she married the prince--if she didn't she wasn't as smart as people thought.
