Simple answer: NO.

Rice production far exceeds the need. Besides a starch product such as rice has many alternatives that people can pick when the price begins to get too high.

Liberals are NEVER happy when things are well. Liberal, especially the LIBERAL MEDIA, will always put a spin on anything to make it "news worthy" in their mind and it usually is not as bad as they make it out to be.

If you remember the CNN "on the spot" reporter that was reporting from "knee deep" flood waters and then the camera person slipped and shot her feet -- they were on DRY land and the "water" was on the background and people were wading through "ankle deep"! LOL...Show more

What are you talking about... Just at the store and they are not rationing rice or any other food now. They are talking about if they had to how they would go about doing it. Yes the cost of food and the fact our growing of grains has gone down is scary but we are not there yet. Wow gloom and doom.
