thank you gift idea for school staff-?

I have been an intern at a middle school and would like to give back by giving the staff a thank you gift. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Preferable a group gift rather than individual gifts.

flowers would be nice but as a former teacher I know how much food is loved!!
If you cook then make a few different types of muffins, put them in a basket and take them in. If you don't cook then you can go to a bagel place and get a variety of bagels and spreads or doughnuts or even a sheet cake from a bakery.
That's a very nice thing you want to do!!

You can go to the local deli or bagel shop and get a bagel platter delivered with a couple dozen bagels and some spreads like cream cheese, etc. It's not really expensive at all. 2 dozen bagels with a couple pounds of spread shouldn't run you more than $25 or less.

You can also bring in a few dozen donuts. Go to Dokun Donuts or a pastry shop and pick out some donuts or cookies and bring some in.

Better yet, bake them a cake or cookies. They will LOVE that you put the thought and the effort into it and that you did it for them. You can take an afternoon and do it for them. Make some different types of cookies and bring them in.

You can do the edible arrangments which are the fruits that are cut to look like flowers. The shops are all over and they do amazing work. They cut all different fruits and arrange them to look like flowers, and they're all edible, and healthy. They're different and they do great work!

You can buy the department a plant or a flower arrangment from you, just make sure to fill out a card saying thank you.

I'm not sure how much you want to spend, but there's that new coffee maker by Keurig that makes one cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate at a time, in 60 seconds or less and it's fresh so there's so pot sitting there all day. It's made with the use of pods and you can get the coffee maker and the pods at Linen's and things, and Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and their websites, but it's not cheap, it's an expensive unit. You can get a filter to use your own coffee with so you don't have to buy the pods. It's an awesome machine and it's great because everyone at school's are always looking for coffee and this way there's always a fresh cup for them and not a pot that's sitting all day, but the starting price for these machines is $100 and that's for the basic unit, but if you had to buy individual gifts, it would probably run the same price to buy each person a gift. If you buy it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or at LNT, you can use coupons to bring the price down.

If you're working in a certain department, would they benefit from any DVD set or anything like that. Like a history or science department would have DVDs that they could show their classes that you can get them. You can check Historychannel.com to see if they have anything and discovery.com maybe the planet earth series that's been out would be somehthing they could benefit from.

You can give them a gift card to go out to lunch as a group or have them order take out and treat them, you can pay the bill beforehand. Tell them that you want to treat them and have them order, and then you pay, or prepay a restuarant to deliver lunch on a certain day. You can have pizzas delivered or Chinese food, but for Chinese food, you'd have to know what they eat, etc.

You can have a big ice cream party and tell them it's your treat to thank them or get an ice cream cake and have Thank you written on it and then get each person a card and write them something in the card. This way the cake is for everyone and then you can get more personal in the cards. You can even buy a few pizzas and an ice cream cake. I'm sure they would appreciate that.

I hope some of these ideas help. It's very sweet of you to do something for them and I'm sure no matter what you do, they will appreciate it!
