Is a massage certificate from Thailand valid in Florida?

My wife is a certified massage therapist from Thailand and wants to work in Florida. Does anybody here know if she needs a new certificate or does she just need to take the state test? Serious replies only, please.

She will have to follow the regulations and requirements that Florida has. Each state in America is different. The credential in Florida is a license so in order for her to obtain that she will need to at least pass the National Certification Exam (NCETMB) and graduate from a Board-approved school. There are other minimal qualifications she also will need to adhere to, but those are the two major components.

You can find everything you will need to know in the website I provided. But to answer your question, yes, she may need a new certificate for I don't think wherever in Thailand she received her education is on the list for a board-approved school. She may have to consult a board member herself about that.

Oil rubdown is amazingly undemanding in Thailand. they vary everywhere from one hundred-3 hundred baht and many times final an hour to ninety minutes. they are very relaxing and you sense super afterwards. genuine lotion or mineral oil is used and you have a wager to take a shower afterwards. The rubdown may well be concluded with or without intercourse reckoning on what form of parlour you bypass to.

she would need to take the test again. Definitely.
If the cert is not in english, you could have it translated by your embassy + certified. You might be able to get away with it.
