If you mean someone to come out and inspect for lead paint, check with your local housing inspectors department, or your local health department. If you want to test a sample for yourself, Home Depot and Lowes sell a lead paint test kit. Personally, I would go with the professionals, because you never know if you may get a faulty reading on your own.

Look that up on the internet. They train certified Lead inspectors. They also have a contact list.
I am certified and I am in they bay area CA. If I can help further let me know.
Kits at the hardware stores are unreliable.

Most communities should have a reference for such a thing. However, you can buy a test kit at most hardware stores and test any surface. good luck.
