If you mean someone to come out and inspect for lead paint, check with your local housing inspectors department, or your local health department. If you want to test a sample for yourself, Home Depot and Lowes sell a lead paint test kit. Personally, I would go with the professionals, because you never know if you may get a faulty reading on your own.

SSPC
Look that up on the internet. They train certified Lead inspectors. They also have a contact list.
I am certified and I am in they bay area CA. If I can help further let me know.
Kits at the hardware stores are unreliable.

my son has lead poisoning with an open lawsuit if you have kids test asap use the ones from the hardware store they are very inexpensive and easy to use. if you rent and you have an extensive problem move asap!!!! call the county health department I am sure they can recommend someone good luck

Most communities should have a reference for such a thing. However, you can buy a test kit at most hardware stores and test any surface. good luck.
