What can I do about Microsoft Office 2003 installation error?

My computer came with Microsoft Office 2003 - Standard Edition. I accidentally removed it and did a system restore. I don't have and I don't want to activated the entire program, but only want to use MDI - Microsoft Digital Image. So, it kept wanting to install all over, if when I tell it not to.

Here is the message: "error 1706, setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see C:\Program Files|Microsoft Office|OFFICE11\SETUP.CHM."
