i want to go to the academy of art university, and i want to take broadcasting classes. it says you need 39 units to graduate? or something like that. how is 39 units? if i was a FULL TIME student?

Being a full-time student you would have take 12 units or more per semester. I am going to assume that the classes you are going to take is 3 units each. It will take you about a year and half if you take 12 units one semester, 12 units the next and lastly 15 units the semester after that. But if you take classes during the summer it will only take a year.
1 1/2 year:
Fall: 12 units
Spring:12 units
Back to Fall skipping summer: 15 units
1 year:
Fall: 12 units
Spring: 12 units
Summer: 15 units
