Not really a friend but more of an aquaintance. A lady asked me to take her across town and my wife was cooking so my wife told me to go on. While returning the lady asked Are you straight? I replied that I was pretty straight. Then she asked if I ever cheated on my wife to which I replied No. Then she invited me to her home. I dropped her off and told my wife to never allow her in our house again. I explained her questions and my married daughter got quite a laugh over it. My wife was just hurt because she had opened our house to the lady when she needed help.

Yes when I was first married my father-inlaw made a move on me and so did my husbands friend and I told them right up front no way back off or I would tell my husband and that set them straight. I never told my husband it was just forgotten about and never happened again. Now that Iam 55 and working with young people I work in a bar cooking I told my daughter not even men my own age hit on me anymore not that I was such a hotty its just that it use to happen but not anymore not that I want it to its just weird or sad I guess, I guess I know Iam getting old oh well life goes on.

I learned a long time ago, that IF you didn't want some guy "hitting" on your wife, then LEAVE HIS ALONE !!
Having said that, I can tell you that I NEVER messed with another man's wife (or any other woman for that matter), HOWEVER, a neighbor (PSYCHO !! ) accused me of messing with HIS wife.
THAT WAS ABSURD BECAUSE, FOR STARTER'S SHE HAD A FACE THAT COULD STOP A CLOCK !
GOD, SHE WAS UGLY !
That screwball beat the s h i t out of her when he got it in his head, that she and I was messing around while he was at work.
Then he decided to come after me to "teach me a lesson".
Well, needless to say, he LEARNED more than HE TAUGHT ! and after they pulled my 9 out of his a**, they locked his sorry butt up, and threw away the key.
(They should have locked that crazy wife up too but for some reason, they didn't and she moved away while he was in the slammer and didn't leave a forwarding address!)
A couple of years later, we moved to another state, and the last I heard, he was still in the poky.

Yes it has happened, I suppose to all of us and I also didn't say anything. I handled it and just said please i don't want to ruin the friendship you and my husband have so i will not tell my husband, but you and your wife will no longer be able to visit our home. I just didn't want for him to come to my home and if that meant i was not going to be able to be friends with his wife, that was the price of his stupidity. It happened two other times but not with his friend but friends of his brother, To one of them I said "What am i sending you a message that is saying I like you in some way" He replied "No but it does not hurt to try" I said your a jerk" The other guy had the nerve to ask my sister in law if I was faithful or if i would consider cheating. Some stupid men out there.

I never said a thing to my husband.

yes a number of times i just handled it with no fuss, didn't happen again BUT ,after our separation, they really came out of the wood work!! mainly from where u least expect it eg the perfect ,hard working ,church going family man ,no one would have believed it ,least of all the wife.
i can't help but wonder if monogamy is really much more than an ideal ,the majority of males play up ,and women are catching up .not saying some couples aren't loyal to each other ,but realstically it's not a majority.maybe times haven't changed that much, and in the past they covered their tracks better.
