MB,,, I do believe you are onto something here ( as opposed to being on something )
If I may make a suggestion ? To keep the rhyming consistent, I would consider changing L 6 from "behind the disguise of " to behind (a) disguise. Perhaps that is just a typo since "of" is also repeated in L 7.
I'll say it again,,, more of your poems please ( think of that sing song voice from the Ovaltine commercial )
