Should there be More? "Cobblestone Streets"?

Cobblestone Streets

Bumpy yet smooth
little round squares
Quaint markets awnings
with strips and flair
Stores lined up
side by side
Coffee Cafe
Umbrellas
Tables with chairs
Mingling people
Walking around
his quaint little town

Beautiful. Cobblestone streets, Market Square, Coffee Cafe, Umbrellas, Tables and chairs. You have described exactly a lovely place in a big city I often visit. You only forgot the candle shops. Bet we've sit across from the table sipping coffee and chatting about the beautiful scenery then wondered why we still left as strangers.

Yes, there should be more cobblestone streets, coffee shops, florists, farmers markets, where people make eye contact and aren't afraid to shake hands in greeting, or to laugh out loud, or whistle while they work. Thanks for bringing back good days.

The metaphor is the poem itself. Nostalgia for a simpler life. A nice read.

Yes, I think there should!
Your poem feeds a vivid picture of simple times and simple pleasures. Very enjoyable. Thank you!

I absolutely love cobblestone streets.
They should all have quaint buildings lining them
I see them so rarely, thanks for the view.
