Do you think Obama should be trained how not to not have to rely on a teleprompter?

Just a couple of funny gaffes that happened:

Obama Referred To An "Inhaler" As A "Breathalyzer" And Then A "Inhalator" Twice. Obama: "Everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma, they end up taking up a hospital bed, it costs, when if you, they just gave, you gave treatment early, and they got some treatment, and a breathalyzer, or an inhalator, not a breathalyzer (Laughter.) I haven't had a lot of sleep in the last 48 hours, so. If they had an inhalator, inhaler, I'm still stumbling over this word. You know what I mean. You know what I mean. Then we would save money." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At A Campaign Event, Bristol, VA, 6/5/08)

Obama: "What they'll say is, well it will cost too much money. It would cost about, it it it would cost about the same as what we would spend … it … o-over the course of ten years it would cost what it would cost us…it it. Alright, okay, we're going to. It-it would cost us about the same as it would cost for about hold on one second I can't hear myself. But I'm glad you're fired up though. I'm glad..." (Sen. Barack Obama, Remarks At A Campaign Event, Bristol, VA, 6/5/08)

The real question is do you really care?

My bias is that I do support the McCain/Palin but am a lifetime independent; this is the first time I'm voting for the GOP.

That is the Republican line this year. I want to vote all the Dems out this year.

Answer...No

Comment..After nearly 8 years of W butchering the English Language, I would think you Cons would have learned to live with a minor mispronunciation of a word.

No.

They all use teleprompters some, like Obama, better than others. Obama is good on his feet. He made a mistake in his language in the quote you use but his message is dead on. With the preventative medical treatment for asthma you need but can't afford you will be MUCH less likely to end up in the ER.

If you're voting for McCain you must support the current administration as well. I surmise this because if you are even marginally disappointed you'd have to vote Obama. That being said how do you feel about our current president's speaking off the cuff. It's so bad people have come up with a name for it, Bushisms. On a more current note, how about Palin. In her recent speech they they had to spell nuclear as "new-clear" to keep her from saying "nucular" in her teleprompter.

Come on now. If he didn't have his teleprompter he wouldn't be able to tell America what his people told him he believes. And even then, he needs better people.

* Tax business: Business has never paid a cent in taxes. People do. You tax business, you tax the people. But it sounds good.
* Bring people together: Has there ever been a more devisive candidate? It has nothing to do with color and everything to do with ideology. But it sounds good.
* Go through every line of every funding bill and remove wasteful spending: The president doesn't have a line item veto. I'm not sure he knows this. But it sounds good.

He spent a lot of time on his Hawaiin vacation during the Olympics trying to wean himself off the teleprompter. “He just locks down and can’t get the words out,” says one political consultant. “For such a fine speaker, it’s really quite remarkable that he’s had issues.”

Obama speaks well off the cuff.
But sadly, he still is human, and like all of us, does make mistakes.

These were 4 months ago when he was campaigning furiously against Hillary. If you had to go back 4 months to find a couple of misused words, I wouldn't say that this supports your contention very well.
