When Derek Chauvin stood on George Floyd's neck, the other cops did nothing, laughed & encouraged, why weren't they challenged\disciplined?

They will face charges later if the lead Officer is found guilty; and he should be!  That hold is to be used only until the cluffs are closed then you either roll the person to their side or set them up right to breath; neither action was taken so it is death by tepidness!

I would have clapped too.

It was a sad state to say the least.

Because they did nothing wrong

The response of the other cops has not been a big issue in the trial.  Chauvin is on trial, not the other cops.

They will see their day in court too.  Probably then they will talk about why the other cops did not intervene.  One thing I can point out though, is that Chauvin was the senior officer present.  They may have trusted him implicitly, or they may have been afraid to contradict him.

They did NOT laugh or encourage it.  They just failed to stop it.

They WERE disciplined.  They were fired and put in jail.

Actually all three of the other cops have been charged with criminal conduct and are scheduled to have a trial once the current trail concludes.

If somehow Chauvin is not found guilty, then there is no way that the other three cops would be found guilty.  So they are holding off on those cases until the Chauvin trial is complete.  

After that - and depending on what Chauvin is found guilty of - they can determine what charges they can bring against them.  If Chauvin is only found guilty of 3rd degree manslaughter, then they can not charge the other three with a higher crime (and win the case.)  

Your belief that the other three officers have not been challenged or discipled is incorrect.  They have been and are facing criminal charges.  

Funny I thought they subdued him because he was a Criminal.  This is not about racism

If it were left to the BLM movement , trials in America would no longer be necessary --  their accusations and versions of their truth would be enough .
