How good a President was Calvin Coolidge in your view?
What's interesting is most scholars regard him as below-average President, but conservatives and even moderates often have a high opinion of him.
2 AnswersPolitics3 hours agoWill Derek Chauvin's innocence or guilt be determined by the colour of the jury like O J Simpson?
Polls of POC obviously strongly suggest guilt, but those of white Americans put him about 50% guilt. If even 2 jury members cannot agree on a guilty verdict the hung jury would mean an acquittal outcome.
1 AnswerPolitics19 hours agoIs the YA! shutdown partly because of dummies constantly asking whether the holocaust\moon landing were real?
There was a big increase in anti-semitic questions over the last year or so, and questions about the veracity of the moon landing don't stop.
1 AnswerPolls & Surveys2 days agoUK Conservative government since 2010 and bumbling Boris still has a 9% lead in the polls what will it take to get Labour back into power?
I blame Jeremy Corbyn for turning Labour into an anti-semitic, spendthrift mess.
1 AnswerPolitics2 days agoSo, farewell YA! Why is this and will you miss it?
YA! was never properly social media in the way the others were. It's like straight-to-DVD social media.
1 AnswerPolls & Surveys2 days agoDo the US and the UK actually have a 'special relationship'?
It seems to me like if the UK (I'm UK) want a handout from the US, a special relationship might be real; but if the US, say, asks the UK for war troops, they can say no (Vietnam) or say yes (Iraq). It doesn't make any difference to our diplomacy, because no one likes wars unless they're non-imperialist, and UK aren't hardly a superpower anymore.
5 AnswersPolitics3 days agoHow did David Walliams become a talent show judge?
He's a nobody and nonentity (fit with the others) he's 'famous' for being on Little Britain, swimming the channel and writing a few kids' books.
1 AnswerPolls & Surveys3 days agoDoctor Who Q: Donna Noble was the marmite companion - did you love her or hate her?
I wasn't a fan, she seemed to get angry a lot but rarely show she was intelligent and brilliant the way other Who companions have been. I didn't find myself remembering her the way I did say Jamie McCrimmon Sarah Jane Smith or Rose Tyler.
5 AnswersDrama5 days agoWould you say D. Trump, H. Clinton and J. Biden were compelling speakers?
Trump is very good at telling people what they want to hear, H. Clinton was an intelligent woman who was obviously President material, and Biden is good at unity and management (which is important with Coronavirus).
6 AnswersPolitics5 days agoDo you think America will ever be mostly free or free of guns?
The main reasons America's owner guns were to protect themselves from Indians and the English. The theory you need guns to protect yourself from guys with guns is fine circular reasoning - other countries don't do it.
6 AnswersPolitics6 days agoDo you like MLP My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic?
It's one of the better kids shows and it's no wonder it has a big adult following.
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 days agoUK is Keir Starker privileged like Boris Johnson?
My impression is he is from a middle-class area and a middle-class home, whereas Boris is deeply rich.
1 AnswerPolitics6 days agoWas Trump's handing of Coronavirus a big factor in America's decision to elect J. Biden as President?
Biden seems to be dealing with it better than Trump at present just on the basis of case numbers, vaccinations, and resources, and he doesn't say silly things about it being a hoax and injecting yourself with bleach.
15 AnswersPolitics6 days agoDoes the ACLU have Republican members?
Do they have cops who are members?
I would guess they would have no reason not to even if their peers might consider them RINOs \ make fun of them.
Some so-called far-rightists I know are more libertarian than nationalist. Heaven knows Trump has had lots of Republican detractors.
4 AnswersPolitics1 week agoHypothesis are Americans particularly religious because they descended from Puritans?
Most Americans treat atheists very poorly for example and tolerate racism and bigotry more freely (and greed) than other countries if it's in done in the name of religion.

In the year 2050?
In the year 2100?
3 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 weeks agoWould it be fair to say Joe Biden was only de facto US President and if not when will he be?
It's about his age as well as his mental faculties. I don't think it's ageist to suggest people who are about 80 shouldn't be President.
11 AnswersPolitics2 weeks agoDo you agree with the hypothesis big BLM crowds will help spread the virus?
I've read this in the press but I think it's an establishment trick to discourage campaignin'.
