Is the YA! shutdown partly because of dummies constantly asking whether the holocaust\moon landing were real?

I can only speculate on the reasons for the shutdown.   I think the powers that be have become lazy and just don't want to deal with it anymore, or they don't think it is cost-effective to keep operating it.  When Yahoo slowly began taking away various features and COMPLETELY IGNORED the requests from the users to bring them back or make improvements, it became pretty obvious that yahoo simply does not care about their users.
