Why is WalMart so expensive?

WalMart has some of the most expensive prices for its products. Very few are the lowest priced. But yet they have the reputation for having low prices, and brag about it? Why is it then so expensive compared to other retailers?

personally I think they are cheap for the most part. my groceries I buy else where.
