My three daughters have lice, should I do a treatment too?
My three daughters have lice they all have thick curly hair. I did the shampoo treatment and my oldest still has moving lice. Does the shampoo continue to work? Should I do a treatment tpp? I have an itchy head (mind over matter possibly) but have found no lice. Will I get lice or is it hard for adults to get lice? Any advice on how to treat lice would be helpful! thanks!

get a lice comb
buy a big bottle of el cheapo conditioner (this really works, they can't grip the hair), put the conditioner through the hair and away you go, wiping the comb after each run through, time consuming but it will work.
the stuff you buy for lice is no good, the lice are immune to most of them these days, always keep your girls hair tied back and make sure they each use ONLY their own hair brush.
i would treat your hair this way too, my head is itching thinking about it and i have a shaved head, chin up, hope it helps.
Lice will die with the first treatment usually, but the treatment doesn't kill the eggs, so another treatment is needed. You will most likely get them too, age doesn't matter. You have to wash all of the linens, hairbrushes, hats etc. in the hottest water possible. All cloth furniture must be vacuumed real well. Call the school nurse of public health office of your township for an exact schedule for shampoo application and additional info. Good luck.
yes you need too do the lice treatment and you need to do your daughter again and let the shampoo sit for more than 10 minutes and it doesnt continue to work after the treatment is over
everyone in the house should be treated. wash all sheets and pillowcases and such. I believe you can get spray stuff for the couch and it help kills the lice and eggs. keep treating your children until it is GONE. otherwise, they'll just get it again.
also, I would inform the school nurse, there may be an outbreak of it that they aren't aware of.
