How do *good* McCain/Palin Supporters Reconcile Themselves to the Hatred? ?

This is a serious questions. Please answer seriously.

Here's a video of Republican supporters waiting to get into a Palin rally in Pennsylvania. I don't provide it as a "gotcha," because I know it is by no means representative of the average Republican. But neither is this a case of one or two hate-filled people. This is clearly a crowd of them and, to judge by reports, not the only crowd.

My questions: Is there anyone among us who does NOT find this disturbing? And how do the good people who support McCain/Palin reconcile themselves to the fact that they are standing with people like this?

Thank you.

I am black and originally from Pittsburgh, PA. That is home to me no matter where I am. I feel that it is a sad thing indeed to see this video but unfortunately PA is one of the most racist states in America. I know I lived there most of my life. This little red neck city of Johnstown is a good example of that. These people don't even know what they are talking about.

Was this the same rally that the audience was screaming terrorist, terrorist, kill him? The one where Sarah Palin never addressed these outbursts. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? I am willing to bet you 99% of these people have never been out of Johnstown. Then again, why would you want to inflict America with this kind of hatred.

"Just War" Concept & Theory gives us and many ohers "reconciliation". Authoritative Roman Catholic teaching by the United States Catholic Bishops in their pastoral letter, The Challenge of Peace: God's Promise and Our Response, issued in 1983.

"Just War" concept & theory is essentially a worldview belief that violence and warfare can be a valid, legitimate, morally, and religiously sanctioned and justified means of solving human conflict whether local or global.

The same way Obama supporters reconcile themselves to the extremist supporting Obama.

There have been liberal anti war supporters, burning US soldiers in effigy.

There have been liberals, writing that they hope Bush gets cancer and dies.

I just had one wacko Obama supporter, send me an e-mail, saying he hopes my whole family dies.

Just because he didn't agree with me about politics.

So people living in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones.

Nobody seems to be answering. I would like to hear someone explain this, too.
