Freezing homemade chicken noodle soup...?
So is there a way to freeze homemade chicken noodle soup with the noodles in it without having the noodles get all mushy? How do they do it when you buy canned soup?
I'm making a big crock pot of chicken noodle soup and was wondering if there was a good way to freeze it with the noodles or if I have to just freeze the soup and make the noodles when I'm ready to eat.
I have not added them to the soup yet. When I make it the original batch, I make the noodles at the end. But thought maybe I could throw them in the leftover soup to freeze them. I just don't want them to be really mushy next time.
