I have long hair, HELP?

Question

my sister has long long hair, almost to her butt, the problem is that she hardly ever makes hair doos because shes only 14 and its too heavy for her. i think she looks really pretty with a pony tail but she doesn't like it cause she says she will eventually get a headache and has to let it down, but were both tired of it being down all the time. when she tries curling it, even before the middle of the day its all droopy. is it  because it is in between straight and waived, too much hair spray, not enough, or something else? any other hair doo suggestions?

I'm not an expert but I'd say it was the length that wasn't keeping the curls. I recently had mine cut a lot shorter (it wasn't down to my bum but it was pretty long!) and now I find with it being shoulder length everything is much easier.
Watch 'pursebuzz' on youtube, she does a lot of lovely hair syles for any length really :)

i have hair about that length as well...and my hair is PIN STRAIGHT, and i love it. it is hard to do different things with it...but i use a claw type clip and pull like half of it into the clip...its like half up half down but you don't have to worry about the strain on your scalp. i've curled my hair a couple times...but i don't like to cause it takes hours to do. but the trick is to use reallyyyyy strong hairspray and not a lot of it. use an arisol can hair spray...i can't remember the name of the one i use. but most arisol can hairsprays are a lot stronger than pump bottles.
