I'm unusually thirsty, and nothing seems to slake my thirst! What can I do?

First, a little information. Sugar is a requirement, or else I'll faint. Water has never been an option for me, as without sugar, I faint.

The last two days have been abnormally tough - I'm so thirsty, in two days drinking that gatorade brand of flavored water (2 bottles 24 oz), yellow gatorade. (3 bottles 24 oz), fourteen 12oz cans of delicious sweet birch beer, four 12oz cans of mountain dew, and five tall glasses of apple juice.

Is there something going around?

I would see a doctor about this, it could be diabetes. Diabetics may feel very faint if they don't have high enough blood sugar levels, and out of control blood sugar can cause excessive thirst. I would go to doctor tomorrow.

No wonder you are unusually thirsty from all the drinks you listed in your question. Since when is sugar a requirement? It's all in your head. You should cut down on the sugary drinks. Drinks "plain" water that does not have sugar. Cut down also down on the beer. That can also make your mouth seem dry.

I think you should get tested for Type 1 Diabetes. Have you lost any weight? Try some orange juice, see if you get addicted to it, if you do, Diabetes might be around the corner for you, since I was really thirsty when I got it. I had cravings for Orange Juice. Do you have any cravings?

You should definitely get blood work done for diabetes as a unquenchable thirst is a classic sign of diabetes.
