MythBuster question. In the Christmas tree, what percentage of bleach did they use in the trees water?

I mean did they use straight bleach or did they mix it with water to help keep the needles on longer?
I'm going to try it is why.

They put bleach in the water and it did help keep the needles on the tree.  The bummer was that the entire tree turned a sickly yellow color.
