Ford realizes a power grab by socialists when it sees one, and is not going to take the bait. Good for them. I need a new truck, anyway. An F-250 sounds about right.

Ford does not get near enough credit for the great things they have done. They have been fiscally responsible, trying to keep up with the failing UAW retirement payments.
They are also one of the most eco-friendly companies out there (way better than their polluting Jap counterparts).
Do a google search on the Rouge River plant and all the green initiatives they have going......My question is why haven't the enviro-nazis hailed Ford as a leader in the movement and supported them bu buying their cars? Instead they buy Subarus and Toyotas built by people that pollute and hunt wales!

I worked for Ford for 30 plus years and Ford started to get leaner a long time ago...the parts plants were spun of to Visteon and then Automotive Holding Corp. and then they are sold and or closed
Ford did a not of cutting of the DEAD WOOD and it still is trying to get lean and mean..The Focus was just mentioned as the top of the line seller..
I know every car company of the Big Three put out some lemons in the past but I know for a fact that the Quality Control is a lot higher

Ford doesn't need assistance because they don't want to knuckle under to the government. They were there with their hand out in the beginning until they found out there would be strings attached to the bail out and then all of a sudden they didn't want the money anymore. All 3 were hoping to get a 'no strings deal' like the banks got.
