Do you feel President Bush's clemency concerning the two border patrols justified?

They will be released March 20th do you feel they will be able to put their lives back together after serving 2 years in prison?

Clemency for the Border Patrol officers follows a pattern of usurping or skirting the law by President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney.

Interesting to note that interceding on behalf of these Border Patrol officers is probably the appropriate call. Few people ever thought the officers would have been convicted. Stranger things have happened all around.

I not only think it was justified I think it was long overdue. They have their families and friends and multitude of supporters so I think, with time, they will be able to put their lives back together. I am so glad President Bush finally did the right thing by these two patriots.

Absolutely. Those men should never have been jailed in the first place. Their so called trial was just a political circus. Yes I am sure they will be fine now that they will return to their families and communities. I wish them well.

I say give them machine guns and put them back on the border.
