What makes it worse is that my step son gave him the stuff to sell in the first place.
Now there is conflict between my husband and me (its his son that gave it to my son). His son is 27 and mine is 17. Its causing problems within our family (although other family members outside the home dont know). Im seriously angry with his son AND mine. He's angry with his son but can't see that his son is much more at fault than mine. What do you guys think ?

they are both at fault. your son is old enough to know better. but his son shouldnt be giving teenagers (or anyone for that matter) any kind of illegal drug. I told my daughter that if i ever caught her with drugs i would call the police. Im not going to play those kind of games. your son needs to be punished, you need to do something that will open his eyes because if it doesnt shock him enough he will keep doing it.

Both their faults but the older one should know better to use a 17 year old in that way. Its natural for a father and mother to protect their own but the step son who is 27 should not have used the 17 year old. The 17 year old is old enough to better but obviously he was tempted. If the 27 year old was my son I wouldn't talk to him for a while - he is a man after all. The 17 year old needs a good talking to.

what does it matter whose more at fault, just sort the problem out, call the police or something, better now than later.

you should talk to him seriously. he need emotional medication and psychological affection to you..help him cope that bad past of him..
