How can i power a 12v component with 2v current?

I have to convert 2 volts of power into 12, what can i use to do so?

I am making an automatic door lock, triggered by a cell phone. Much like what you may have seen on the internet, only alot less complicated. I am wiring, instead of a vibration motor, an electric door strike to the phone. The motor uses 2 volts. the strike requires 12.

Much depends on what the 12 volt component is! You haven't said.
You would need a DC- DC inverter.
Anyway, what you ask is not easy.
I feel a better solution would be to up the voltage to 12 volts, and then drop that to 2 volts to power the whatever.
"2 volts" is not power. Nor is it "current".

You to use a transistor converter.

You will need a boost converter.
