I do okay with not eating too much on my meals and all that, but what's the best way to stop snacking and grazing? I was doing okay, but then we just started our play rehearsal and there is all this sugar going around and I have just been eating all this sugar. I just want to stop snacking and decrease my sugar intake. what is the best way to stop snacking and to stop eating so much. to just say NO when there is food around that tempts me?

Eat a spoonful of peanut butter. Brush your teeth. Chew Gum.
Eat a healthy breakfast (cereal, turkey bacon, egg whites - Proteins!). I tend to get hungry an hour or two after I eat in the morning, so I make sure to have a healthy snack like a banana, apple w/low fat cheese, yogurt. Lunch is the biggest meal of the day for me, I eat my veggies, protein and carbs to get me through my day. Again, have an afternoon healthy snack, grapes, carrots, celery w/peanut butter. Then have a smaller portioned dinner.
Go to the store, and stay in the produce department and find things you can eat as a snack. If you stick to that, over time, your sugar cravings will change. Instead of craving a coke, or chips, you'll want strawberries or oranges for your sugar kick. Experiment!

you know i have a big issue myself with snacking i can control myself when comes to my meals...but when it comes to a snack the more you say no to yourself the more you cant help the temptation the the worst is when it comes to chocolate!!! uuuuuggggghhhhhhh....so what helps me out allot is popcorn the 100 calorie one is not bad at all since i do weight watchers 100 calorie popcorn is 1 point for me and i can eat the whole bag with no guilt!! even tho it may be kinda small it does helps me curve my snacking!!
well u snack when u get bored so one way to stop is to keep ur mind occupied with something another way to stop snacking is to just not buy snack-ish foods. I am on spring break right now and i am bored all day long so i am having trouble not snacking too ur not alone!
