There are indeed.

The Jews are for Israel.

The Christians are for Israel.

The atheists are for Israel.

The Bahais are for Israel.

The Japanese are for Israel.

The Druse are for Israel.

That's just for a start.

The Muslims are against Israel. Their religion gives them no choice.

The Muslims are also against their fellow Arabs. Reports about the repression of Hamas opponents were obtained from Palestinians detained by the IDF during Operation Cast Lead. For example, Hamas operative Nawaf Faisal Atar, a resident of Al-Atatra who was detained on January 11, said that Gazans who dared to oppose Hamas were shot in the legs [as corroborated by the Amnesty report]. He said that Gazans were afraid to oppose Hamas because its operatives did not hesitate to call people Israeli collaborators and execute them.

Hamad Fajar Saleh, a resident of Jabaliya, who was detained on January 12, said that in 2007 Hamas operatives shot and killed his brother, who had guarded the house of the Palestinian Authority employee responsible for internal security. He also said that Hamas prevented people affiliated with Fatah from getting the food and other items of humanitarian aid they were entitled to from UNRWA.

In addition, the media (especially those affiliated with Fatah) issued similar reports. For example, during Operation Cast Lead a motorcyclist was reported to have shot and killed a Palestinian in Gaza who had been suspected of collaborating with Israel and who escaped from the detention facility attacked by the Israeli Air Force. According to eye witnesses, the victim was shot three times in the head and chest.

For two main reasons, neither having to do with Apartheid: (QUICK NOTE: Druze Arabs are drafted into the IDF, so your claim isn't entirely accurate.) -Firstly, this way, Israeli Arabs are not forced into situations where they may have to fight, and even kill, their Arab cousins. -Secondly, despite being Israeli citizens, many Arab-Israelis are hostile to the country, and wouldn't hesitate to turn over information they learn from the IDF to its enemies (tactics, training, troop positions, etc.) However, if they so choose, Arabs can serve, though they are not legally compelled. Often however, Arabs who do join the IDF are harassed by their fellow Arabs and therefore choose to remain anonymous when giving interviews, etc. I'm not quite sure what about this system suggests that Israel is an Apartheid country.

Nobody can answer that simply. If the family is religious and the male or female was raised that way, it may be shocking to them. Other families are more moderate or secular and it may not bother them. Some people may just wish to join a non-Orthodox version of Judaism or they are privately spiritual or just ethnically, culturally Jewish, so they have a different viewpoint. It is a matter of personal choice, like marriage, career matters, divorce, children, travel, living arrangements and so on.

I think a key point is being missed here:

Because Israel is a *democracy* ALL Israelis are able to live, and worship - or not worship! - as they please.

And as 'Boomerang' rightly noted, one can be a Jewish Atheist, because Judaism also involves a complex moral structure that one can embrace. Also, a Jew only becomes an EX Jew IF they adopt ANOTHER FAITH. ***Any*** other faith.
