. . . that did nothing after W was elected fraudulently, yet the population of Iran, a third world country, is trying to do something about their 'president' being elected by vote tampering? I can only say that we should be embarrassed over our apathy, ignorance and complacency . . . too busy getting the kids to soccer practice after stopping at McDonald's and Nordstrom's in our Hummers . . . . .

George W. Bush was elected, fair and square. however, Barack Obama stole the 2008 election with the help of mass media and hundreds of thousands of fraudulent votes from his criminal organization ACORN.
Alexis de Tocqueville summed this up eons ago, in that ;
More than just imploding any traces of old-world aristocracy, ordinary Americans also refused to defer to those possessing, as Tocqueville put it, superior talent and intelligence. These natural elites, who Tocqueville asserted were the lone virtuous members of American society, could not enjoy much share in the political sphere as a result. Ordinary Americans enjoyed too much power, claimed too great a voice in the public sphere, to defer to intellectual superiors. This culture promoted a relatively pronounced equality, Tocqueville argued, but the same mores and opinions that ensured such equality also promoted, as he put it, a middling mediocrity.
The problem is the electorate haven't evolved just stuck with the same system.
Well, I don't see many American cities with dirt roads, high unemployment, and Muslim fanaticism. Maybe we don't need to fly off the handle when we don't get our way. I have better things to do, like work, and go home and see my family. I love my family more than dodging tear gas.
Secondly, don't make generalizations, no matter if it's nationality, creed, color, anything. Generalizations are always wrong, someone is always an exception to the rule.
Third, have you ever thought....maybe we're not a third world country?
It says we have an electorial college which is how we elect our president. although i dont agree with it myself, its suppose to give the smaller states a little more contribution in the polls than popular vote, otherwise we would (supposedly) ignore them. thats how W got elected, not fraud.
p.s. whataburger dominates mcdonalds and every other burger stop. don't defile americans by saying they eat sub par fast food
There is a huge difference between life in American and life in Iran. But surely you know that. We chose one half-way decent candidate to tow the status quo line over the other one. We are complacent because our life is good. Iranians are not because their life is restricted and miserable. If they had an overall acceptable quality of life then you would not be seeing protests and loss of life. NO ONE risks their life when life is good....that's just basic
