today i saved a mouse from drowning, i live on a small farm,where we have pigeons ,and chickens,well we have alot of mice,they come for the extra feed that is on the floor and also i keep an extra bucket of water nearby to easily fill the water bottles in the pigeon loft,well there were two mice in the bucket one had died the other extremely wet and trying to get out,well i let it out ,couldnt stand to see the little thing drown .i think i did the right thing .whats your opinion

I think you have a very nice heart. I have been known to trap bees in a glass that have gotten inside, and take them outside and let them go. Everyone tells me, "You know, he is just going to get eaten by a bird outside, right?" But the point is, that in the mean time, that bee could find a bee girl friend and make bee babies before it gets eaten. I think that was a very nice thing you did, and dont ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
I would have done the same thing. I once found a newborn mouse at work who was lying in oil so I washed him off the best I could and tried to save him. Unfortunately, he only made it through the night. I think all of God's creatures deserve a chance. Good for you.
There is nothing wrong with compassion but if the mice are causing problems on your farm, then in the long run, your act of compassion may harm the farm.
I hope you can find a better way to kill mice than to drown them in a bucket... Drowning is not a pleasant way to die...
I don't have a problem with the killing... I have a problem with killing in a manner that causes extreme suffering...
While I could not have watched it drown, either; now it is running around alive, breeding and making hundreds of new baby mice in its lifetime. Don't you have cats around to eat mice?
