If you look at things today they are a little different...I think. I say this because if I were to go anywhere in the world and say that god spoke to me that would look at me as if I were crazy perhaps even kill me. If I say I speak to god I am looked at as normal?

A person that does not know the Lord will more likely think you're nuts.
On the other hand a person that knows the Lord and His word will know if what you say is from the Lord or not because of truth that is being told and a kindred spirit.
Some people that claim to be Christian but are not will grasp at anything to make them sound like they know everything. Like sounding brass.
I talk to God all the time and God talks to me when He wants to. I have heard Him speak deep to deep where you know without a shadow of a doubt that it was God and it was between you and God only. He has spoke in my heart and has verified in His word what He had spoken.

I speak to God all the time and the Lord God Almighty speaks to me also. Does this make me insane. Well people in my home town once concluded that i must be so they did all there little hearts could think up. Lied, cheated and stold and how so. And they even got this judge to help them out. Then they ticked me off i spoke and a years latter the judge died and New Orleans was destroyed. You know it is not wise for a nation to come between a prophet and his son. This nation has seen nothing as of yeat. You should wish that i was not insane buy the way it all was recorded and i am even now preparing to speak over this nation unto its destruction if they do not repent.

Nope - totally sane. Prayer is sane and is speaking to God. When God chooses you and you accept Jesus as your Savior and you are filled with the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will guide you and speak to you. This is very normal. Only those who are guided by the Holy Spirit will understand this and that is OK, so choose to hang around those people and pray for the rest...................

I wouldn't say your looked upon as normal if you tell anyone you speak to God....I've been doing it for 2 years , everyday reading my scriptures and bible meetings and JW.....and I have been spit out like a cherry pit every time I try to bring up God ...If I say I pray to him (speaking) people have pity on me...they think I'm mentally ill. But what else can you do but to pray each day and continue steadfast at it
