My boyfriend thinks that when i hang out with people that he doesn't want me to hang out with, I am being disrespectful.
I don't understand why. I give him freedom to hang out with whomever he chooses, because I trust him. He told me he trusts me, he just doesn't trust other people.
What do you think?

if he trusts you, like he says, there shouldn't be a problem. stand your ground at that...he's disrespecting you by trying to control what you do

I think he is thinking that he has a certain power over you which he does not have
it would be somewhat disrespectful if you didnt listen to your PARENTS about such a matter.

Tell him not to hang with certain people that you know he enjoys being around and then stop being around the people he said for you not to hang around and see if he stops seeing who you told him to. If he doesn't then he's a hypocritical control freak.

He's trying to control you and he thinks your a whore, otherwise he wouldn't care. Bottom line is he says he trust you but he doesn't.
