Frank's politics are way off the mark in my opinion, and his use of his political position to run a male prostitution ring really hurts the gay community in my opinion.

Well, I'm hetero and that little blond chick on The View is hetero and we're the same demographic, but I think she's a pinhead...she hurts only herself.
It's too bad more gay people just don't admit, commit and get out there...the more of them there are, the less "gay poster boys" we'll need. Being gay is Frank's angle, his marketing scheme. If it keeps him fed, he'll keep doing it.

Why is he not championing new legislation to create Federal Equal Rights for same-sex couples? (abolish DOMA)
Why is he not championing legislation to allow gays to serve openly in the military? (abolish DADT)
Too me he appears as the most blustery, self-serving member of Congress. And that's saying a lot.

I disagree with your lifestyle entirely. HOWEVER, integrity and trustworthiness is a different issue. Chances are if you ran, and you showed those two qualities; I'd vote for you, I'd also walk down the street with you in support of your campaign (so long as it didn't promote the lifestyle)
