Is Democrat Representative Barney Frank, a gay superhero?

I'm trying to figure out how he single handedly is responsible for all the issues with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, when Republican Representative, Michael Oxley was chairman of the House Financial Services Committee from 2001-2007, when all the issues with Freddie and Fannie came to light.

So did Barney Frank use his gay superpowers to subdue Michael Oxley and wrestle control of the House Committee away from the Republicans?

Then bend all the Republicans to his will (pun intended) on the entire House of Representatives that was overwhelmingly controlled by the Republican Party?

Talk about a man-date......

It is funny how the Republicans mysteriously don't mention the fact that THEY controlled the Congress when so many of the seeds for the current Wall Street problems were being sowed.

    *chuckle*

    "man-date"

    Classic.

Amazing isn't it? A few years ago Republicans were deregulating the entire financial system, with some complicity from Democrats, and all their supporters were being distracted by the "war on terror" and the war in Iraq.

Now that everyone sees what has been going on, the same GOP supporters try to place the blame on the Democrats, and act as if a few vague warnings from a obscure part of the Bush Administration focused on minority housing were enough to absolve them of all blame.

Just last night, as Phil Donahue was clearly outlining the regulatory failures of the last few years and the need to fix the system, Hannity responded that the whole problem was the Community Reinvestment Act - conveniently enacted by Carter and Clinton!.

Such short - sightedness and vitriol is stunning. Absolutely stunning.

He is indeed. The gay superhero who toppled the world economy like a well designed house of cards.

Amazing. Then they could put the Evil Republican party out of power and bring in the other Amazing, Super, Duper Hero, The Great and Wondrful O to lead us into a New World Order out of the Chaos.

He has the power to change facts from the past and present faster than a speeding bullet.

just elmer fudd with a lisp.

No, they merrily suggested that republicans are racist. That is the technique that dems have been using for years. Its not politically correct to limit home owners to those who can actually afford the mortgage payment. Then they sit back and take their kick backs

It's all Barney Frank's fault, even though the Republicans had majority control of congress at the time.

have you ever watched Barny Frank during a sit down news confrence? He picks his nose, scratches his head and rubs his eyes....I don't think even the gay community is proud of him just because he is gay, gay's have much more respect for their appearance than ol Barny.

  • No. Just a gay criminal with a dangerous degree of power and influence.

Good one. Barney Frank's super hero name should be "The slobbering white poo".

    When Frank is mentioned I usually think something like;

    "Freakin' Train Wreck!" or

"Good God save us from that abomination!" or

    "@*&%&$*@#*&^@#~ BUM!"
