I want to be a male nurse, I know there is that stereotypical category that male nurses are viewed as gay (I know it's immature, but I hear it all the time). What do you think of male nurses?
I want to work in A & E but I don't want to study for 7 years to be a Doctor.

Dude, if you are straight think of all the female nurses out there working long hours in close proximity to you.
I work with several male nurses and none of them are gay. It is a myth. Males are filling the shortages everywhere, and doing it all. Once it was a rare thing to see a male nurse, but now they are everywhere.
I just spent the night at the hospital with my Dad. His nurse was a man named Bob. I couldn't have made it through the night without him! He was great, and there was nothing gay about him. Go for it. We need more male nurses. Good luck!
It sounds stupid/gay but in reality it's not. Although a serious amount of men who work in hospitals ARE gay. I hope you are aware of that...
Anyway it's cool. It's not that male nurses are thought of as gay, it's that nurses are completely seen as female. So it's weird, not gay. You take a minute to go 'oh' and readjust the image. They are stereotypically seen as female. 100%.
there's nothing gay about being a male nurse there are more and more male nurses nowadays and people stop having this stereotypical view in their mind good luck man!
