Pantera - Power Metal?

A Classic which has been long forgotten in time . Even the Creator of the album disregarded this Gem of Metal filled with ferocious riffs, amazing drumming and one of the best vocal performance .Phil`s falsetto does have quite a resemblance with Rob Halford out here only thing being its much more savage.

Many tends to dislike the album reason behind as i said earlier .This has absolutely no links to Glam probably their Thrashiest effort till date .Dimebag shredding at his supreme best

What are you`re thoughts ?

Hey A!

yeah, i like Power Metal...some really good shredding on that album like you said. One could argue that the glam link is from the look they had at the time plus Phil sang in a high falsetto

There is def some glam imagery here

with that said, the music is great and its sad they won't re-release that album.

Very underrated album. Pantera should have accepted this album as their "debut" instead of Cowboys From Hell.
