Help please, I am desperate!!?

Question

there is this guy that i work with and at work we're always joking around and stuff and if i see him outside of work he will holler at me or blare his horn at me or something like that and i've told a few of my friends about him because i really like him a lot and i was more than happy to be friends with him because he had a girlfriend but now he and his girlfriend  broke up and one of my friends says that i should invite him to go play mini golf with a bunch of friends but i am really scared to do it  because what if he says no and then everything is awkward between us i really don't want that so now my friend says that she will ask him for me but i don't know if i should let her or not because  i was thinking that if i asked him i would try to make it sound like a spur of the moment thing like an afterthought or something like that but i just really do not know what to do I am open to any suggestions and i appreciate your help Thank You!

Never let friends ask anyone out for you. I would make it sound casual, IF you can pull it off, if for some reason you feel like you can't pull it off then don't try. I wouldn't rush things, People get back together all the time. So I'd give it a week or two and see how things are going before I asked him out. Either way I wish you the best of luck.

dont let ur friend ask! that looks like primary school. i think u should ask him urself, but not like properly, like would u like to come...cos then if he says no it could be quite embarrassing, u should just say
oh me and my friends are going mini golf, u should come it would be a laugh!
n then if he says no, u can just be like......... ok then ur loss! or ok mr boring!
cos then it doesnt look like ur embarrasssed! 
well thats what i would do anyway! but dont worry, im sure he wont say no cos it does sound like he likes u!

listen up girl, do not i repeat do not DATE anyone in the work place !!!
its very easy to said its all good it will work out but it ever does..
1.if things do not work out how difficult is it going to be when u see his face every day
2.what if u get caught kissing him -that's a pink slip
3.u would get jealous if u see him talking to some other woman at work.

SO TAKE MY ADVICE THEIR MORE FISH IN THE SEA........
